The day begins at 11am in the main car park where visitors are picked up by a Beamish tram and taken to the Resource Centre. There will be a welcome and coffee on arrival and half the group will then visit the Collections Store while the other half visit the Photographic archive. Each session is approximately 45 minutes with a change over. A light buffet lunch is included in the ticket price but if entry to the main Beamish Museum site is required then this is at the normal entry price. This is a special tour for Art Fund members.

Beamish is in County Durham, some 12 miles north west of historic Durham City and 8 miles south west of Newcastle upon Tyne.
