This is the room,’ said Mr Churchill, ‘from which I will direct the war.’ Situated in once-secret underground wartime headquarters, the Cabinet Room, map-room, secret trans-Atlantic ‘phone’ room, Prime Minister’s bedroom and the rooms surrounding them remain just as they were when the war ended.

After an introductory talk by Emeritus Director Phil Reed OBE, guests are free to wander in these uncannily timefrozen and evocative War-Rooms using an audio-guide. The Churchill Museum will also be open - the award-winning interactive displays offering insight into both the private and public faces of the wartime leader.

This event has been organised by the London Fundraising Committee Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
