Seven decades of powerful, participatory work by artist and activist Yoko Ono

Yoko Ono, a prominent figure in conceptual and performance art, experimental film, and music, is celebrated for her activism, contributions to world peace, and environmental efforts. Spanning over seven decades, this retrospective focuses on key moments, including her influential years in London from 1966 to 1971 where she crossed paths with John Lennon.

Highlighted works include Cut Piece (1964) and the banned Film No.4 (Bottoms) (1966-67). The exhibition ranges from early performances and works on paper to music, to activist projects including PEACE is POWER and Wish Tree. Ono engages audiences through both simple acts of the imagination and active encounters with her art.
