Brangwyn the Polymath

Lecture | The Menuhin Hall

Wednesday 26 April 2017 - 10:00 until 12:00

Come and rediscover this multitalented artist, now widely forgotten. Frank Brangwyn worked briefly for William Morris, was commissioned by Tiffany and known for his British Empire Panels now in Swansea, commissioned and then rejected by the House of Lords; the ones of the war being thought too grim and the ones of the Empire too lively! Libby Horner will explore the many disciplines he mastered and give us a brief history of the artist.

This event has been organised by the Surrey Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
