UHI: Inverness campus visit

Guided Tour | An Lochran

Thursday 16 March 2017 - 10:30 until 15:30

An exciting and informative visit to the new University Campus and to the Centre for Health Sciences, sited across the Golden Bridge from the main campus. The centre has initiated a programme of site-specific artwork.

The group will assemble at the cafe at An Lochran ready for a 10.30am start. A number of HIE (Highlands and Islands Enterprise), UHI and Centre for Health Science staff will guide us throughout this special day. It will allow us to enjoy and get an understanding of the way the architecture enhances the many and various work and study environments on the Campus.

Visit the University and College curriculum areas, including the art department where we will meet students and see their work. We will also walk around the site, already developing into a pleasant parkland with a lovely lake and find out about the environmental aspects intrinsic to the engineering of the site.

There will be a buffet lunch in the Sheiling Restaurant in the main UHI building.

This event has been organised by the Highlands Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
