Vincent van Gogh - A New Way of Seeing

Film | Durham University

Tuesday 22 November 2016 - 17:45 until 20:00

The makers of this film enjoyed complete and unprecedented access to the treasures of Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum.

Made in collaboration with the experts at the museum, the film marks both a major re-showing of the gallery’s collection and a celebration of the 125th anniversary of Van Gogh’s death.

The film will be introduced by distinguished art historian Dr Anthony Parton of Durham University and there will be time afterwards for discussion..

Please note change in venue: The event now takes place in Room ER140 - lower entrance in the Elvet Riverside lecture room block.

This event has been organised by the Durham and Cleveland Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
