Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

Talk | Victoria and Albert Museum

Monday 29 June 2015 - 11:00 until 12:00

The first and largest retrospective of the late designer’s work to be presented in Europe, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty showcases McQueen’s visionary body of work. Spanning his 1992 MA graduate collection to his unfinished A/W 2010 collection, McQueen’s designs are presented with the dramatic staging and sense of spectacle synonymous with his runway shows.

This illustrated talk in the V&A’s lecture theatre will introduce McQueen and trace the development of his unique creativity and genius as a designer.

Entry to the exhibition is not included but a limited number of tickets are available when booking.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
