Maria Balshaw at The Whitworth Art Gallery

Talk | Whitworth Art Gallery

Tuesday 12 February 2013 - 18:00

Maria Balshaw, the Director of both The Whitworth Gallery and Manchester Art Gallery, will speak about her dual role and offer an insight into the coordination and complexity of managing these two great galleries. A glass of wine or a soft drink will complete the evening. Hockney and Hogarth will be the current exhibition.

There will also be an opportunity to join a tour of a John Piper exhibition 'The Mountains of Wales', led by curator Helen Stalker.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
