Tour of Scottish Country Houses

| Drumlanrig Castle

Visitors will travel by coach from York to see four houses in south-western Scotland. First to Drumlanrig, a magnificent baroque Buccleuch mansion, with its superb paintings and setting, then onward to a hotel near Prestwick for a two night stay. The next morning visitors will tour Dumfries house, one of Robert Adam's first houses, and after lunch on to Culzean, one of his last. The next morning to Ardgowan House, a fine eighteenth century mansion on the Clyde, for a tour and lunch before returning to York in the afternoon. The cost, with two nights half board will be about £270.
