Blenheim Palace, Victorian era

This exhibition at Blenheim allows visitors to see how the 300-year-old palace's collections were presented during the Victorian times.

Displayed across the state rooms, Victorian Passions and Pursuits explores how the palace's huge staff managed the running of one of the most formal stately homes in the country, and tells the stories of the palace's inhabitants during an exciting period in its history.

Also on show in the gallery is Romance & Rebellion, a collection of works from the internationally acclaimed Cecil Higgins Art Gallery, featuring work by artists including JMW Turner, Edward Burne-Jones, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, James McNeill Whistler, Richard Dadd and Aubrey Beardsley.
