This event has now passed, find out what else is going on at North Hertfordshire Museum

The museum has reopened its doors to the public.

While the museum is now open, we will be managing crowds by offering guided tours.

Tours will last up to an hour and are led by a member of our museum staff. You'll be guided around the galleries and the temporary exhibition, find out more about the history of North Herts from your guide and there'll be opportunities to ask questions. The best part is, the tour is free.

The last tour of the day is exhibition only.

Up to six people in each group to accommodate social distancing guidance. Cleaning is regularly carried out throughout the day and new procedures have been put in place to keep everyone safe. To help with this there will be a short briefing at the start of the tour. The gift shop will be available after the tour. Click for more details on Covid Precautions.

Please wear a face mask when visiting the museum (unless you have a valid exemption)

Our cafe will be serving food and drinks including cream teas:

General Cafe Menu - purchased on the day

Cream Tea - £16 per person

Cream Tea Under 12s - £8 per child.

Cream Teas will be served on the Terrace (weather dependent).

Please book cream teas as availability will be limited.
