One of the UK’s best known photographers, Martin Parr talks about his long career in photography, with particular reference to his recent exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, ‘Only Human’, with its wry social comment and observations of people from Britain and around the world. Combining criticism, seduction and humour, he shows us how we live and what we value through his unique perspective. Parr has had around 40 solo photobooks published, and has featured in some 80 exhibitions worldwide.
