Guildhall Library specialises in London history, featuring more than 200,000 titles covering all aspects of life in the capital, from the 15th to the 21st century. Highlights include Shakespeare’s First Folio, John Stowe’s topographical London study and a chained 16th-century Bible. It contains several specialist collections too, including the Pepys Collection and Lloyd’s Marine Collection. The visit includes a talk by one of the librarians, a tour behind the scenes and a look at some of the more specialist items.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
