Lose yourself in wanderlust in this exhibition of paintings by leading Irish impressionist artist John Lavery.
Journey through Lavery's extraordinary life as he ventured across the globe while painting the sights he saw and the people he encountered along the way. Bask in the sun, sea and society of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, captured through impressionist landscapes, tantalising portraits and idyllic scenes of leisure in stunning locations, from Palm Springs to Paris.
Having studied in Glasgow, Lavery became friends with the local group of artists the Glasgow Boys, with whom he shared an interest in modern life, granting him the nickname, the 'Belfast-born Glasgow Boy'.
