Trenethick Manor and Wendron Church

Visit and Talk | Wendron Church

Wednesday 24 June 2015 - 10:30 until 16:00

A wonderful opportunity to appreciate a private visit to a rare example of a grade 1 listed, fortified, 16th century Cornish manor house. Cream tea will be served in the Elizabethan garden to coincide with a performance by the Cornish based Saffron String Quartet.

The tour of the church will be lead by the rector, Rev Canon Dr David Miller, after which lunch will be enjoyed at the nearby New Inn. After lunch a tour will be conducted around Trenethick Manor by Neil Mundy who will speak about James Gilray, whose work he has a substantial collection of.

This event has been organised by the Cornwall Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
