Tillmouth Park and Pallinsburn House - SOLD OUT

Coach Visit | Meet at Central Station or Stannington

Thursday 14 May 2015 - 09:30

The Northumberland Committee are very privileged to have a very special invitation from Sir Michael and Lady Blake to a private tour of the Dower House and garden at Tillmouth Park that was converted into a picturesque Felix Kelly masterpiece, and includes his collection of 25 paintings. This will be a great day out with coffee, then the tour followed by lunch at Tillmouth Park Hotel, a fine building also built by the Blake family.

In the afternoon the group will visit nearby Pallinsburn House, a rare opportunity, and the privilege to be welcomed by Mr George and Mrs Jane Farr. The building boasts an extremely attractive Jacobean style, with Flemish bricks and stone mullioned-and-transomed windows, an original Venetian window on the ground floor, and some beautiful rooms, with the barrel vaulted dining room being outstanding.

This event has been organised by the Northumberland Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
