Sherlock Holmes

Private View | Museum of London

Tuesday 18 November 2014 - 08:30 until 10:00

A private view of ‘Sherlock Holmes: The Man Who Never Lived And Will Never Die’ introduced by its curator, Pat Hardy. This major exhibition explores how Sherlock Holmes has transcended literature onto stage and screen, and why he conjures up such enduring and widespread fascination. Through early film, photography, paintings and original artefacts, the exhibition also vividly recreates the atmosphere of Sherlock’s London - beyond film and fiction, you will be transported to the real Victorian London, the backdrop to so many of Conan Doyle’s stories.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
