Hardwick House and grounds tour

Guided Tour | Hardwick House

Wednesday 5 June 2013 - 11:00

Hardwick House is a fine Elizabethan manor adjacent to the river Thames and has been in the Rose family since 1890. Many writers and artists, including Kenneth Graham, the author of 'Wind in the Willows' stayed at the house during the last century. The present owner, Sir Julian Rose, will show the group around some of the house and its grounds. These are now organically managed, and include majestic beech woodland and wild flower meadows.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
