Salute to the Holiest

Lecture | The Quaker Meeting House

Wednesday 6 March 2013 - 18:30

An illustrated lecture by Professor Clyde Binfield. He will take us on a journey, beginning with Sir Edwin Lutyens time in Rome and Oxford, through his work in the Arts and Crafts Movement, garden suburbs and churches, to his commemorative work, notably the Cenotaph and Thiepval monuments, touching on work by Lutyens contemporaries on the way.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
