Visit the newly built Assay Office at Hillsborough, Sheffield. After morning coffee have an illustrated talk by Emma Paragreen (librarian/curator). Following her talk there will be a guided tour of the production area and an opportunity to view items from the silver collection as well as library and archive material related to the work of the office.

After a light lunch visit the Millennium Galleries, where curator Clare Starkie will give a guided tour of the silver and metal wares gallery. There will then be the opportunity to visit independently the other exhibitions including 'Food Glorious Food', 'Art Sheffield 2010 Life a Users Manual' and 'Lovebytes Present – Code: Craft' interaction between art and computer coding.
