Visit to Kentchurch Court with Afternoon Tea

Kentchurch has a fortified 16th century manor house near Pontrilas. the building incorporates the gateway and tower of a 14th century fortified house which was enlarged and partly rebuilt during the 17th century. It was also extensively remodelled by Nash during the late 18th century.

The house has been in the Scudamore family for hundreds of years and the guide for this visit will be the current owner, Mrs Jan Lucas-Scudamore. The visit includes a full afternoon tea of homemade cakes and sandwiches.
