A hands-on family workshop exploring fashion, identity and self-expression through pattern and making.
Pattern and Protest is a creative family workshop inspired by the bold ideas and iconic designs of Vivienne Westwood.
Led by designer and Fashion Professor Emma Jane Goldsmith, the session invites families with children aged 5+ to experiment with fabric, adding marks, patterns and messages to create their own expressive responses.
Through hands-on making, participants explore themes of fashion, identity and self-expression, considering how clothing and design can communicate ideas and values. This workshop offers an engaging opportunity for families to create together during the summer holidays, combining creativity with conversation in a welcoming museum setting.
Included in museum admission. Under 18, full time students and carers go free.
