Oscar Murillo presents a new body of work in his first solo exhibition at a UK public institution since his acclaimed 2013 exhibition at South London Gallery.

Murillo’s multifaceted and highly charged practice offers an expressive reflection of his experience of displacement, and the human and economic fallout of globalisation.

Including painting, installation, video and live performance, and utilising spaces beyond the galleries, the exhibition is as much live transmission as a static display, reflecting the artist’s itinerant life since arriving as an immigrant to London from Colombia with his family in the 1990s.
