Explore how video games have evolved into one of the most exciting and innovative design fields of our time.

Since the mid-2000s, major advances in technology, particularly with the internet and social media, have revolutionised the design and production of video games.

This exhibition examines how boundaries are being pushed to create ground-breaking new games and how the culture has changed and developed among creators, players and critics of the innovative designs. It also looks at rebellious player communities and studies the political element of the medium.

As well as displaying objects and design materials, the exhibition includes large-scale immersive multimedia installations and offers hands-on interactive experiences.
