Sculptural installations by the Rio de Janeiro-based artist, made using traditional methods of weaving and braiding.

The exhibition takes its name from the common linguistic prefix, consisting of a series of works inspired by words such as transgressing, transforming and transmuting.

Nepomuceno has combined pre-existing elements such as bricks and industrial piping with her hand-sewn ropes, beads and woven straw to create the TRANS installations. They reflect her interest in organic development and the interconnectedness of individual objects and their environments.
