Winifred Nicholson exhibition

Private View | Djanogly Gallery, Nottingham University

Wednesday 15 March 2017 - 18:30 until 20:00

Djanogly Gallery Curator, Neil Walker, will give a lecture on the exhibition of Winifred Nicholson's works, Liberation of Colour. Nicholson was renowned for the faux naive charm of her paintings and the scintillating colours of her flower still-lives. The exhibition is curated by Nicholson's grandson and examines the major periods of her creativity. It includes a quantity of never seen before material. A private view of the exhibition will follow, together with a two course supper, with wine, provided by the gallery's excellent catering team.

This event has been organised by the Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
