Botticelli Reimagined: behind the scenes

Dr Ana Debenedetti, Curator of Paintings at the V&A and one of the curators of the innovative exhibition Botticelli Reimagined, which has been organised by the V&A in partnership with the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, will give a lecture on the show which runs from 5 March - 5 July 2016. Dr Debenedetti will explore the enduring impact of the Florentine painter Sandro Botticelli (1445–1510) on artists from the Pre-Raphaelites to today. The exhibition is the largest devoted to Botticelli since the 1930s and includes over 50 original works.
This event has been organised by the York & East Yorkshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
