St Mary Le Bow and Guildhall Art Gallery

Famous for its bells, St Mary le Bow is considered the second most important church in the City of London after St Paul's and was one of the first churches the be rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren.
The group will have a tour guided by the Rector, followed by lunch in the crypt. After lunch, walk a short distance to the Guildhall Art Gallery, which houses the art collection of the City of London Corporation. The group will have a guided tour of the collection and the opportunity to view the ruins of London's Roman Amphitheatre.
This event has been organised by the Essex Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
