Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Whistler Exhibition

Visit | Dulwich Picture Gallery

Tuesday 7 January 2014 - 11:00

This will be a private tour of the permanent collection of the Dulwich Picture Gallery, one of the oldest in Great Britain and the paintings are housed in the first purpose-built art gallery in England, designed by Sir John Soane in 1811.

There will then be short introduction to the exhibition 'An American in London: Whistler and the Thames' before the opportunity to explore the show. This exhibition includes a number of paintings of Chelsea and the Thames, along with prints and rarely-seen drawings.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
