Testament of Youth

Talk | Oxenfoord Castle

Tuesday 19 March 2013 - 18:45 until 21:00

Performed by Rohan McCullough, this is the remarkable story of Vera Brittain who, having battled her way to Somerville College in the face of parental supervision, abandoned her studies at the outbreak of WWI to serve as a volunteer nurse, witnessing the horrors of trench warfare. In 1918, with many closest to her dead, she returned to Oxford.

This performance will take approx 70 minutes with no interval and will be the last time Rohan McCullough will perform Testament of Youth.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
