The Rector of the church of St Bartholomew the Great in London will give a guided tour of its Norman interior (built by the son of William the Conquerer in 1123). Features include a wonderful Oriel window and the tomb of Sir Walter Mildmay. Scenes from 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' and 'Shakespeare in Love' were shot here. Then there will be a guided tour of The Charterhouse which was originally a monastery and then was converted into a mansion and finally almshouses and a school. It boasts an Elizabethan Great Chamber, cloister, chapel and gardens. One of the Brothers of The Charterhouse will lead the tour.
