Walk and Talk Hampstead Highlights

| Not Applicable when venue selected above

This is an opportunity to explore the delights of Hampstead with the expert guidance of architect and broadcaster Maxwell Hutchinson. Buildings of many different architectural styles and dates can be found in this charming area of London, including Fenton House – home of a 17th-century merchant – and the Modernist house at 2 Willow Road – designed in 1939 by internationally celebrated architect Ern Goldfinger. Literary associations abound in Hampstead Village: in what is now known as Keats House, the poet wrote his ode To A Nightingale, and fell in love with his neighbour, Fanny Brawne. The walk will finish in time for members to enjoy lunch in one of the many cafs, pubs and restaurants in the vicinity, and then to continue exploring the village or enjoy a stroll on Hampstead Heath.
