Opera and Picnic Evening

IL MONDO ALLA ROVERSA (or "The World turned Topsy-Turvy with Women in Charge") is a story by Carlo Goldoni, the music by Baldassare Galuppi written in 1750. It is performed in English in a new translation by Simon Rees. The opera evening has been an annual event in The Art Fund, Oxfordshire calendar with a supper interval in the beautiful cloisters and the opera performed in the Warden's Garden. All Art Fund members are welcome and may bring guests. The opera may be performed in the college chapel if raining.
