Bring a picnic lunch and your favourite stuffed animal to Crofton Beam Engines for our Teddy Bear Picnic event!
Join us for a day of Teddy Bear themed activities and crafts!
FREE Site entry. Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds and have a go at the lawn games dotted across site. No refreshments available to buy on site.
Join one of three Song and Story Sessions at 11am, 12 noon and 1pm. £2 per child. Enjoy games, songs, book reading and music. (Booking required).
Look out for bears hidden around the Station as you learn about what the Pumping Station does and why it was built. Usual Non-Steaming admissions apply. Trail FREE. No booking required.
Don't forget to get stuck in and make a Springy Accordion Bear, Teddy Bear Ornament to hang up at home, or practice your paper weaving creating a Paper Jumper Bear! £1 per child. No booking required.
Finally try your luck at guessing how many gummy bears are in our jar or guessing the name of our Teddy Bear. If you guess correctly you could win and get to take them home! 50p per guess.
This event will be running alongside a non-steaming day (not in steam).
