This delightful 17th-century shipmaster's house on the Exe estuary celebrates the town's maritime history.

The River Gallery displays a collection of river boats, including Cygnet - a unique craft with a stunning swan's neck prow. The Sail Loft displays a timeline showing Topsham's rich history. Visitors can explore the museum's 17th-century dining room, 18th-century parlour, 1930s kitchen and a room dedicated to memorabilia relating to Hollywood star Vivien Leigh.
