Some of the most beloved artists of our time including Tracey Emin, Damien Hirst and Banksy are exhibited together in this major exploration of modern art.

Reflect on modern art by the world’s best-known contemporary artists. Major players Banksy, Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin are joined by The Connor Brothers, Blek Le Rat, Pure Evil, Kaws and Rachel List in this exhibition that celebrates the concept of moments.

Exhibition highlights include Banksy’s 2020 work Hula-Hooping Girl which originally appeared on the side of a building in residential Nottingham, and Heart Boy which was originally painted on a wall in Islington, London in 2009 and has never been exhibited before in the UK. Rachel List, an artist who gained prominence in 2020 due to her poignant street painting, NHS Angel, has also made new work specially for the exhibition.

There will be additional pop-up events, workshops, artist talks and demonstrations exploring the theme of moments in relation to modern art, and there are even plans to implement an art trail around Bury St Edmunds where you’ll be able to see striking work in locations such as The Apex, Charter Square and Abbey Gardens. The exhibition will play a major role in supporting the economic recovery of the West Suffolk town following the challenges of Covid-19.
