Bruce Munro returns for his last year in residency, creating an immersive light art trail in the grounds of the manor.

The artist known for his immersive large scale light based installations has created an imaginative audio-visual piece for display at Waddesdon. Titled ..---...SOS, it comprises a series of glowing tents which have been situated around the garden; their flashing colours and shifting sounds are intermittently interrupted by an urgent Morse code distress signal.

Munro was inspired by disaster relief charity Shelterbox, and the work is a reminder of people and places throughout the world in need of help.

The light art will be illuminated from 4pm.

Opening times

Our gardens and Aviary are now open and the exhibition gallery will open from 4 July 2020. All visits must be booked in advance due to capped visitor numbers to ensure social distancing
