American photographer Hal Fischer will be in conversation with Glyn Davis discussing, amongst other things, his seminal work Gay Semiotics and recent publication The Gay Seventies.

Glyn Davis teaches at the University of Edinburgh and has lead the three year research project, 'Cruising the 1970s: Unearthing Pre-HIV/AIDS Queer Sexual Cultures'.

Glasgow Museums is the first UK institution to acquire Hal Fischer’s three major series’ of works, Gay Semiotics, 18th near Castro St. x24, Boy-Friends, with support from Art Fund. The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) Glasgow, are showing these works from November 15th, 2019 till March 31st, 2020.
