Anne Lyden, Chief Curator of Photography at the National Galleries of Scotland, will introduce the group to the MacKinnon Photography Collection, recently acquired jointly by National Galleries Scotland and The National Library of Scotland. With over 14,000 photographs from the 1840s to the 1940s, this treasure trove reflects both the developments in photography (including images by Hill & Adamson, Annan, Fenton) and the social and economic history of Scotland, and will be the subject of a new exhibition at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery later in 2019.

This event has been organised by the Fife Fundraising Committee Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
