A unique opportunity to join a private curatorial tour of The Wallace Collection’s extraordinary assemblage of Arms and Armour by the engaging and extremely knowledgeable Curator, Tobias Capwell. Discover the beauty and history of weapons and armour throughout the centuries from around the world. There will also be an opportunity to hear a brief overview of the upcoming exhibition he is curating - Henry Moore: The Helmet Heads - which opens at the museum on 6 March 2019.

As well as being the Curator of Arms and Armour at the Wallace Collection, Tobias is also Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and an internationally-acknowledged expert on Medieval and Renaissance weapons. He has published a number of books on the subject, and appears regularly on television, most recently as presenter and armour advisor on A Stitch in Time. He was also the writer and presenter of Metalworks: The Knight's Tale on BBC.

This event has been organised by the Kent Fundraising Committee Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
