This is a unique collection in a unique setting. Stanley Picker was a patron of the arts and the collector of a varied selection of 20th century sculptures and paintings. His house was built in 1968, and the gallery added in 1976, to house the most important pieces in his collection. His artworks were purchased, not as investments, but for their artistic appeal, and hence this is a very personal and eclectic collection. It includes works by Marc Chagall, Barbara Hepworth and Helen Bradley, amongst many others.
Please note there is restricted access for people with limited mobility and there is no lift.
This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
