The Abbey was the site of a monastery of the Premonstratensian order, and after the Dissolution of the Monasteries it became the country house residence of the Dukes of Portland. The Harley Gallery is home to the historic Portland Collection, Welbeck's internationally significant collection of fine and decorative art. In addition, the collection is supplemented by exhibitions from leading contemporary artists.

Please note transport is not included. Meet at the car park at 11.45am, the bus will leave from the Abbey at 12noon.

The Abbey has very limited open days and this event is limited to 14 on this occasions. Therefore, apply as soon as possible.

There is a picture restorer who can be visited ahead of the tour at no extra charge. Please inform the organiser if you would like to add this to your booking.

This event has been organised by the Lincolnshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
