Kingston Bagpuize House and Buscot Park

Visit | Kingston Bagpuize House

Wednesday 20 July 2011 - 08:30

An opportunity to enjoy a private visit to Kingston Bagpuize, a late 17th century house belonging to the descendents of Lord Tweedsmuir. Coffee shall be served on arrival with a tour of the largely unaltered house to follow. Then a visit to the gardens and lunch. Next, to Buscot Park, now a National Trust house and home to the Faringdon Collection. This is a wonderful collection of furniture and pictures by Old Masters and Pre-Raphelites, the most notable being the Burne-Jones decorative sequence in the Saloon. There are also marvellous and extensive gardens to be enjoyed.
