Garden Party and Book Fair: Coedarhydyglyn

Art Fund Party | Coedarhydyglyn

Thursday 16 June 2011

A wonderful opportunity to attend a garden party and book fair at Coedarhydyglyn, a neo-classical Grade One listed mansion not normally open to the public. The book fair will take place in Coedarhydyglyn's beautiful dining room. Light refreshments, tea, coffee, and wine will be served in the gardens which were laid out in the early 20th century by Llewellyn Edmund Traherne. The gardens include a woodland, a Japanese style water garden (featuring a Japanese bridge, tea house and a marvellous pool and cascade). There is also a wonderful cypress garden, a pinetum, and a large array of rhododendrons to enjoy.
