Visit: Warley Place and Warley Church

There will be a guided tour of the historic garden at Warley Place, home to the Willmott family since 1875. The garden is now a nature reserve, but at the end of the 19th century it was one of the most celebrated gardens of its time visited by Queen Victoria, Queen Mary and Queen Alexandra. There will be a break for lunch (which may be taken at The Thatchers pub). At 2.00 pm a guided tour of the church of St Mary the Virgin in Great Warley which is famed for its Art Nouveau style interior and examples of Arts and Crafts workmanship.
