Visit: Garden Museum

| Garden Museum

Director Christopher Woodward will show visitors around the Garden Museum, which was founded in 1977. Over the past three decades a unique collection has been assembled through ongoing purchases, donations and bequests.

In 2008, The Art Fund helped to purchase The South Border at Munstead Wood, painted around 1900 by Helen Allingham. The Museum was remodelled last year, and light-sensitive items in the collection – such as paintings, photographs and books – can be displayed for the first time.

Visitors will also be able to see the temporary exhibition Highgrove Florilegium, which features a collection of original watercolours celebrating the gardens at Highgrove.
