The Strathclyde Art Fund Annual Informal Picnic

| Glasgow Harbour

This year's picnic will be on the Tall Ship at Glasgow Harbour.

The Clyde Maritime Trust have kindly allowed us to hold our picnic on board the S.V. Glenlee. A fully rigged barque built by Anderson Rodger & Co at Port Glasgow in 1896, it is one of only five Clydebuilt sailing ships still afloat anywhere in the world.

Pimms and nibbles will be provided but please bring your own picnic and wine plus the usual Scottish picnic wear and sensible shoes. (If it is wet and we have to be below deck it can be quite cold.) As we shall be afloat, it would be fun if you could try to dress with a nautical theme.

For ticket applications contact: Catriona Reynolds, 7 Ilay Court, Bearsden, Glasgow, G61 1RT; Telephone 0141 560 4470; email

You will be contacted if you are on the waiting list, but otherwise tickets will be sent out about a week before the event. We will circulate names in the hope of members combining on transport.
