Inspired by the themes and styles explored in Impressions of Light: Masterpieces from MuMa – Le Havre and The Bowes Museum, art lovers can create their own picturesque scene in Framing the Landscape led by artist Anna Selway. Visitors will experiment with expressive brushstrokes and a loose painting style to capture atmospheric scenes with a sense of movement through colour and light.

This event is part of the programme for Bowes Lates, an after-hours evening of culture and art. Tickets include general access to the museum for Bowes Lates, free programme of events (expert talks and tours, planetarium, Silver Swan performances, silent disco, spoken word performances and more), plus the artist led Framing the Landscape session.
