A creative painting and dining experience, in one of The Bowes Museum’s picture galleries, led by artist Betty Brown
Participants will explore a selection of striking portraits featuring flamboyant hats, dramatic hairstyles and extraordinary headpieces, using these as inspiration for artwork of their own. Betty will offer expert guidance on colour and technique, helping painters of all abilities to grow in confidence while they enjoy a grazing board and a glass of fizz.
This event is part of the programme for Bowes Lates, an after-hours evening of culture and art. Tickets include general access to the museum for Bowes Lates, free programme of events (expert talks and tours, Wonder Dome planetarium, Silver Swan performances, silent disco, spoken word performances and more), plus the artist led Brush & Bubbles session.
