Enjoy a mix of creative and nature-inspired activities across The Bowes Museum’s galleries and creative spaces.
Inspired by Impressions of Light: Masterpieces from MuMa – Le Havre and The Bowes Museum, visitors are invited to explore colour and light in beautiful landscapes, with opportunities to get hands on and create their own artistic impressions.
Head outside into the parkland to discover autumn wildlife and learn about hedgehog habitats, or, if the weather turns, pick up for of the new Autumn Trails, to explore the museum’s collection in new and surprising ways.
The October programme is packed with a variety of self-led adventures, relaxed drop-in sessions and guided workshops, meaning there’s plenty to keep children of all ages occupied.
Don’t forget, there are activities taking place daily, so come back for more opportunities to discover and explore. Under 18s, full-time students and carers go free and all activities are included with museum admission.
